Air Max Day is on the horizon which means loads of new, old and tweaked silhouettes will surface sporting Nike’s cozy technology, which allows the wearer to essentially walk on air. Leading up to Air Max Asics Gel Lyte 3 Womens Day, the Swoosh has placed a spin on the classic Air Max 90 model. Dubbed the Nike Air Max 90 Ultra 2.0 Flyknit, the model takes the lighter weight route, swapping its traditional upper for the Swoosh’s popular Flyknit technology. Its Nike Air Max 2016 Donna overall aesthetic stays true to its original thanks to a mix of black, grey and infrared coloring. In addition, you’ll find branding hits via its lateral and medial Swooshes, as well as on the heel. Closing it out, a visible Air Max unit is placed in the heel for a proper springy response when needed.
Having just recently featured its bold “Bright Crimson” counterpart, we learn that the Nike Air Max 90 Ultra 2.0 Flyknit silhouette will soon drop in a timeless black and white colorway iteration. A modern take on the iconic runner, the uppers feature an intricate Flyknit construction, which when paired Asics Gel Lyte 3 Dam with the hyperfuse overlays make for a lightweight, yet sturdy shoe.
In its latest release of the Air Max 90, Nike has debuted an Ultra Essential iteration in a black and white colorway. Featuring a mostly black tonal upper, white Nike Air Max 90 Womens segments throughout add eye-catching details. Placed above the stark white midsole, “Air Max” branding employs a white background to complement the matching coloration of the segments around the eyestays. Along with a subtle grey Swoosh along the body proper, further insignias on the tongue tag and heel counter round off the look.
As evidenced by this season’s Tech Fleece footwear, black and grey is a combo that always works. The latest illustration of that fact comes in the form of this Black/Cool Grey-Anthracite-University Red rendition of the Air Max 90. Sporting a seasonally appropriate base of Nike Air Max 95 Mujer marled grey mesh, the design feature black leather overlays throughout as a dash of red takes care of the tongue branding badge. Finally, additional black and grey accents hit everything from the air-cushioned midsole and lining to Nike Air Max 2017 Dam the leather Swoosh branding, laces and molded eyestay. The predominately two-toned look can be found now via Tokyo’s atmos before hitting additional Nike Sportswear accounts in time for the holidays.
The Nike Air Max 90 “Ice” Quickstrike Adidas Superstar Mens serves as Nike‘s latest effort in annually constructing a winter themed shoe. The familiar low-top sneaker silhouette flaunts a triangular patterned, cool grey, anthracite upper, which is further embellished by the intermix of a weaving body of black. An icy turquoise bottom sole matches the colored Max air-unit, along with Nike’s Air Max branding printed on the shoe’s Adidas ZX Flux Womens Pink heel, upper, and tongue.
