The Ottawa Redblacks added a trio of import defensive players on Tuesday. The first-year franchise signed linebackers Brandon Denson and Jasper Simmons as well as defensive back Reggie Jones. Denson played his college football at Michigan State and has CFL experience, most recently with the Montreal Alouettes practice roster last year. Simmons, a 24-year-old from Pensacola, Florida, spent the last two seasons as a member of the Toronto Argonauts, tallying an interception in each season.
