BERLIN -- Bayern Munich defeated Hannover 2-0 for an 11th straight win at at home in the Bundesliga on Saturday. Bayern seemed distracted by its new Oktoberfest-inspired brown and white strip in the first half but stepped up its performance after Mario Mandzukic opened the scoring in the 51st minute. Franck Ribery pounced on a rebound to secure the win in the 64th. Former Bayern midfielder Luiz Gustavo was sent off for the second time in his third game for new club Wolfsburg, which lost 3-1 at Bayer Leverkusen. Kevin-Prince Boatengs first goal for Schalke was enough for a 1-0 win at Mainz. The former AC Milan midfielder ran at the home sides defence, feigned to shoot, and then unleashed a fine effort past Mainz goalkeeper Heinz Mueller in off the far post. Eintracht Frankfurt won 3-0 at 10-man Werder Bremen, and Augsburg came from behind to beat Freiburg 2-1. Borussia Dortmund aimed to maintain its winning start with victory over Hamburger SV at home later. Bayern midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger remained on the substitutes bench after failing to fully recover from the ankle injury that forced him out of Germanys recent World Cup qualifiers. Philipp Lahm lined up in midfield and Rafinha took Lahms normal position at right back.
