This week is Beagle Freedom Week, and a great chance for teachers to Nike Air Max 95 Femme get involved with a Skype Lesson all about Beagle Freedom.Skype in the Classroom have partnered with the Beagle Freedom Project to offer a Skype Lesson so that students around the world can learn how to show for cruelty free products, and to avoid household items that have been tested on animals such as Nike Air Max Thea Damen Beagles. What really brings this to life is that Lorna Campbell, who hosts the lesson also brings along Belle, her own rescue Beagle, for students to interact with over Skype.
Belle is a beagle, rescued from an animal testing laboratory in Nike Air Max 1 Femme California, and she appears in our lessons as an example of the type of animals that are being used in lab testing across the world. She is a terrific ambassador for other animals and really helps children to understand that the animals we talk about are real, living creatures like the ones they share Nike Free 5.0 Femme their homes with and not just an abstract concept.
Our lessons have been so varied and exciting! We’ve spoken to classes in India, Pakistan, Chile, Argentina, Poland and the Philippines as well as all across the US. We have educated classes about how to shop for products that have not been tested on animals, how to care for an animal that’s been rescued from a lab, how we go about rescuing animals of all kinds from research facilities and how we find them loving forever homes.
Classes across the world have met Belle and learned about how Adidas ZX Flux Femme she was rescued from a laboratory, her life in a cage, and how she adjusted to life in the outside world. We’ve talked about her first steps on grass and her first treats and cuddles. We’ve answered questions about politics and the legalities of animal testing, general animal care questions and lots Nike Air Max 2016 Damen and lots of questions about which products people can buy to avoid giving their hard-earned money to companies that have poor ethics regarding animal treatment.
We’ve had such a wonderful experience being part of the giant Skype in the Classroom community. It’s amazing to see such a varied group of people all brought together by a desire to educate and learn. Beagle Freedom Project is so proud to be part of it and we hope to do many, many more lessons in the coming months!
