The latest Air Jordan 1 Low OG is set to drop this weekend, a perfectly understated colorway befitting the classic simplicity of the model.The Air Jordan 1 Low Black/White sports smooth solid-black leather over the upper, with pops of white appearing on the tongue-tag, heel-tab and sole unit — minimally used, but striking in their deviation from the established black. All in all the look aligns pretty closely with a previous Air Jordan 1 High — the Nike Free Run 2 Donne Cyber Monday pair that launched in November — as most recent AJ1 Low OGs have.Jordan Horizon availability is . . . confusing. Colorways keep cropping up but, with the exception of the Public School edition, none have become readily available; like, NDC and national-accounts available.Well, whenever the model does start hitting stores in earnest, the Jordan Horizon Gym Red figures to be one of the early colorways. Red cloaks the Air Jordan 13-inspired silhouette, offset by white honeycomb-style stitching for a subtle but stark contrast. Below, the sole unit — also borrowed off the AJ13 — is rendered in black, stylishly aligning the shoe with so many classic Air Jordans.The 2016 NBA All-Star Game heads north to Toronto this year, so, of course, so too do the inspirations for the thematic shoe collection.You’ve seen the Northern Lights Nike Air Huarache Femme Foamposite One, and now we get our first look at the girls’ Air Jordan 1 High All-Star 2016. The imagery’s muse is a little less overt, instead opting for a blurry blend of greys and silvers on the leather upper, with a bit of reflective 3M material ostensibly mixed in to make that sea of grey a little more conspicuous.Valentine’s Day comes early this year. Well, at least it does to the Air Jordan 12, which rocks a Cupid-approved theme a full week before Hallmark’s favorite Romantic holiday.The Air Jordan 12 Valentine’s Day releases February 6, rocking a white tumbled leather upper offset by vibrant pink along the forefoot, outsole and liner. Add in metallic silver eyelets up top, and the shoe has all the earmarks of the Air Jordan 12’s classic color-blocking, simply executed in wildly new colors.We’ve seen plenty of classic Nike Air Max 90 Dames Air Jordan models wearing Nike Air Max 90 Femme Rose colorways inspired by Michael Jordan’s teams, past or present. Next up, the Air Jordan 5 Low draws from his victims.The Air Jordan 5 Low Knicks sports a blue upper set against white and orange accents, stylishly donning the palette that’s synonymous with New York basketball, a fitting tribute considering Patrick Ewing, John Starks & Co. were MJ’s opponents during some of his finest performances. Well, tribute or twisting of the knife.Last year, the Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle was one of Jordan Brand’s most well-received new models, bringing premium materials and a high-fashion sensibility to the iconic model. This year, the concept extends to another beloved silhouette.The Air Jordan 4 Pinnacle — officially the “Air Jordan 4 Premium,” but go with me here — sports a luxe black leather upper complete with reptile Nike Air Max 2015 Mens scale embossing Nike Air Max 1 Damske around the collar and toe. Tonal pony hair adds an almost designer touch on the tongue and side-panels — replacing the AJ4’s signature netting — and a white outsole provides perfect contrast; stark, yet simple, keeping the focus on the materials.One of the great Air Jordan 12s of all-time is set to return in 2016, and I’m not talking about the “Flu Game.” (Although, yes, the “Flu Game” too.)The Air Jordan 12 French Blue releases March 26, featuring the famous, beloved design that sees a white tumbled leather upper overlaid with blue along the scaly leather forefoot. That same shade of blue then appears on the outsole, bringing a constant, cohesiveness to the design language.But perhaps just as exciting as the shoe itself is the accouterments with which it’ll be releasing: a retro card and an OG-inspired Nike Air Max 90 Womens box.Inextricably linked Adidas Superstar Femme Blanche with the larger-than-life legend of Michael Jordan, the Air Jordan 12 Flu Game releases in May.A clean mix of black tumbled leather upper and scaly red on the forefoot, the Air Jordan 12 Flu Game isn’t just a classic colorway, it’s a piece of MJ folklore; the shoe that His Airness wore during Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals while he was so ill with food poisoning that he could barely stand. Next up, the Air Jordan 1 KO Shadow.Sporting the AJKO’s signature composition, the Air Jordan 1 KO Shadow goes black canvas through the upper with a grey canvas toebox, touches of the latter tone also appearing on the leather Swoosh and collar. For a true retro feel, “NIKE” branding appears on the tongue, in lieu of the more contemporary (and less preferred) Jumpman logo.We have sort of a good news-bad news situation for you, as it pertains to the Just Don x Air Jordan 2 Beach that drops later this month.The bad news? It’s going to cost you about $650 to get into a pair, a high if not entirely unexpected price considering Just Don’s high-fashion reputation and proclivity for using premium materials. (And the materials here certainly are premium.)The good news? This year, that rumored $650 price tag will Adidas ZX Flux Damen net you not just the Just Don x Air Jordan 2 Beach, but a hat as well. Yes, it’s a pack set-up. Last year, Just Don’s Jordan hats cost $675 apiece, while the shoe retailed for an additional $275. So if you’re inclined toward silver-linings, you could say that this year’s Air Jordan 2 is basically free with the purchase of the hat. Presuming all of the rumors turn out true, anyway.
