The retirement and un-retirement of Brett Favre is becoming an annual rite of the NFL preseason, and this year is no different. Favre made his announcement at a Tuesday press conference:

But the pieces are in place that you don’t have to do that much and I agree with that. If they were willing to take that chance, I was, too. I don’t know how I’ll feel a year from now, five years from now, but I didn’t want to say what if.
