With the Super Bowl just around the corner, and the 49ers the betting favorite at the moment, there’s no better time to Nike Roshe Run Uomo preview the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Downtown Gold/Red, apparently already dubbed the Iron Man, though a 49ers moniker would be just as fitting.
The slimmed down AF1 sports an upper comprised of red patent inlaid with textured gold leather, while a white midsole and gum outsole finish off the attractively eye-catching look.
No US release date announced yet, though it sounds like Asian accounts Nike Roshe Run Donne could see them as early as February 2nd.The Adidas Superstar Donne slimmed down AF1 sports textile stretched over the upper, a white/black/grey camouflage printed on said textile, while anthracite nubuck complements on the Swoosh, heel-tab and lace-placket. A vibrant red tone shows through the translucent sole unit, finishing the eye-catching look and adding some subtle contrast. One pair, the Bright Crimson/Black edition, sports a rather conspicuous look, with orange covering the mesh-and-leather upper while black contrasts at the midsole-adjacent foam piecing and midsole itself.
Meanwhile, the Air Penny 5 Memphis is a nod to Penny Hardaway’s college days, sporting UM’s blue and white Nike Air Max 1 Uomo palette as well as striping (Memphis is the “Tigers”) under the translucent outsole. The Nike Air Force 1 Duckboot Grain/Starfish release date is official, set for early-February. The boot-ified Air Force 1 sports two-tone tan leather over the upper, with tonal insulation around the collar, the occasional orange accent, and brown over the heavy-duty boot-style outsole.
