Nike Free has been going for a long time now, ten years in fact. The concept behind it is all about building trainers that are comfortable yet lightweight, giving the feeling that you are running almost barefoot.
Nike enjoys the 'natural motion' phrase a bit too much for us, but basically when you are wearing a set of Free trainers, you should run like you would without them on.
Last year, we pulled fitness expert Turner Moyse in to Adidas Gazelle Donna take us through the most important things happening in trainer technology, namely Nike's Free, the Adidas Boost and Saucony's more traditional Kinvara trainer.
Since then, fitness Nike Air Max 90 Femme Noir technology has taken off proper. Samsung has launched a phone with a heart rate monitor, while the likes of Jawbone have finally put together a wearable fitness gadget we like.
In terms of Nike Air Max 90 Mujer Blancas fitness tech, at ten years of age, Nike Free is almost old guard by now. However, the latest range of trainers really do sit at the cutting edge of what you can stick on your feet. So what do you get?
The first is what Nike calls 'hexagonal grooves'. The idea is that the sole of the shoe can flex and bend in any direction so that your foot can do exactly the same. This is because you don't run perfectly in a straight line, but instead your foot often rolls slightly.

Then you have the inclusion of Flyknit, which is nothing new in terms of Nike's trainer tech but still stands out as some of the best stuff you can get on a shoe.
Finally, the heel of some of the latest Free range is rounded to match the shape of your foot, so that your foot can roll when you impact the ground with the back of it, absorbing shock and adding comfort.
None of this shoe-related gadgetry would be worth its salt if it didn't have a benefit while you are running. Nike said that prototypes back in 2002 of Free trainers saw athletes getting increased muscle Nike Air Max 95 Donna growth in the ankle and foot, as well as improved balance over the competition.
Having been for a good few runs in the latest generation of Nike Free stuff, we have to agree, it's the Adidas Superstar Femme Noire most comfy jog we have ever had.
