Out of the rubble of WWI, a new style of art emerged Nike Air Max 2017 Damen embracing technology, luxury and progress. For the 25th anniversary of the ASICS Tiger GEL-Lyte III, Australian sneaker store Highs and Lows has given the silhouette a ‘Silver Screen’ makeover, in celebration of Art Deco style and ingenuity.
Inspired by the one of the most iconic landmarks in Highs and Lows’ hometown of Perth, The Astor Theater, the GEL-Lyte III Silver Screen embodies the assertive modernity of Art Deco style while maintaining the elements that have made the silhouette Adidas Zx 750 Femme so successful over the last quarter century. Like the original, Highs and Lows’ release features the GEL-Lyte III’s split Nike MetCon 2 Womens tongue, GEL cushioned sole and a padded collar.
Capturing the historic design features of The Astor, the new iteration incorporates the Asics Gel Lyte 5 Dames soft, pastel mint and vibrant red shades of the cinema’s exterior on its suede and leather mix upper. Meanwhile, the marbled ice outersole replicates the marble flooring of the theater’s lobby and throwbacks to old Hollywood run throughout the shoe.
Highs and Lows is one of twelve stores designing 25th anniversary versions of the ASICS Tiger GEL-Lyte III, so stay on the lookout for further collabs with leading retailers from across the globe.
