This year marks the 20th anniversary of Air Max 97, so of course Nike is celebrating in a major way. The Swoosh has a line up 20 different colorways rolling out within the next couple of months, and we now know the dates of when they’ll start to drop.

First up will be the Air Max 97 OG, which will release globally as soon as August 1. The Air Max 97 OG Premium — including the pink snakeskin pair — will be available globally starting August 4. Last but not least, the Air Max 9Adidas Zx 750 Femme 7 Ultra, the updated lightweight version of the OG, will be out in North America on August 5 before going global August 17.

While some Air Max 97 OG and Air Max 97 Premium colorways will be available on Nike+ SNKRS, you’ll be able to find the Asics Gel Lyte 5 Dames rest in retail stores and online.

When we say, "You can never have enough sneakers," we mean it. Whether you're using your kicks to go to the gym, take a class, or just stroll around town, there's always room for more. That's why we created an ultimate guide to our favorite sneakers of the year. These shoes come in every color of the rainbow, and every style you can think of too. Shop through these enticing options and score yourself a pair before they all disappear. Trust us, they'll be selling out soon.

The Nike Air Max 97, that distinctly ’90s shoe with an idiosyncratic sinuous, Nike Air Presto Mujeroften colorful design, seems to be experiencing a real resurgence in 2017, with a number of new, highly covetable collaborations. And it’s only appropriate, given the sneaker’s popularity in the early U.K. rave scene, that Nike would tap grime star Skepta to be next on their list of design coconspirators. The British-Nigerian artist has taken the genre to new heights since grime’s ’90s salad days, and he’s brought this reinvigorating spirit to his deeply personal Air Max 97 design. Skepta said that the iridescent, copper-tone sneaker, which will hit stores on September 2, was inspired by “the Nike Air Max Classic BW Dames color palette of Morocco,” which he described as his home away from London, and the “palette of the 1999 Air Tuned Max,” which was the first shoe that he bought himself growing up.

Skepta’s not new to the fashion world: His debut collection Nike Janoski Damen Mains, which offered up a refined take on his versatile trademark, the humble tracksuit, launched at Selfridges in the U.K. earlier this summer. Mains’s lookbook and accompanying video, all of which were shot in Marrakech, also first publicized Skepta’s interest in Morocco, which Skepta called a “haven” around the time of its release. Even though Skepta’s personal style might be sporty and quite minimal—he seems to prefer monochromatic sets that he’ll frequently match with his sneakers—his Nike Air Max 97 is a more complex meld of his current inspirations and his childhood roots. The sneaker’s Nike Air Max 90 Womensembroidery mirrors Moroccan needlework and the shoe’s SK logo is in the shape of a U.K. electrical outlet, which pays tribute to Skepta’s childhood in London. So while the collaboration is a subtle synthesis of Skepta’s past and present,Ralph Lauren Dresses it’s more importantly a sleek sneaker that’s as fit for the streets of Marrakech as it is for the clubs of London.
