Justin Feser had two goals and an assist as the Tri-City Americans beat the Saskatoon Blades 5-2 in Western Hockey League action Wednesday. Ty Rimmer finished with 33 saves as the Americans (8-4-0) improved to 2-1 against East Division opponents. Tri-City, which is 6-0 when scoring the first goal, previously had beaten Prince Albert and lost to Brandon. The Blades fell to 7-3-1 and are 1-2-1 in their biennial tour of the U.S. Division. The Blades were undefeated before starting this road swing, which ends Friday in Spokane, Wash. "They are a really good team," Tri-City coach Jim Hiller said of the Blades. "They have a winning tradition and they were good around our net. They made us earn our chances." Elsewhere in the WHL it was: Red Deer 4 Kamloops 2; Edmonton 2 Moose Jaw 1; and Brandon 8 Everett 2.
