The renaissance of the Air Force 1 continues, as the shoe, which seemed to have taken a backseat to some others for a brief while there, is headed for retail in another spectacular style: the Nike Air Force 1 Dusty Grey/Metallic Pewter-Cherrywood.
Reflective silver leather overlays dominate the upper, giving way to inlaid white leather and Nike Air Max 1 Femme patterned grey Swoosh and heel-cap. Adding a bit of detail, the Swoosh sports a carbon fiber-like print, while contrast light blue adorn the inner-lining and outsole-speckles.The Nike Nike Air Max 90 Pas Cher Air Force 1 Downtown Black/Metallic Silver releases August 31 and, as usual with the AF1 Downtown line, it’s the picture of premium.
Soft, buttery black leather builds out the heel, Swoosh and toe, sandwiching an inlaid tonal textile on the side-panel. Further, the midsole even goes Nike Free 5.0 Mens jet black, ensuring a fashion-forward look that’s more style than sporty.
But then comes the contrast, sparse yet striking. A metallic silver heel-tab is overlaid at the back, while speckled white laces round out the look.
