Every four years, to celebrate the latest Summer Games, Jordan Brand revives the Air Jordan 7 Olympic. That was the rumor again for the 2016 and, in theory, that’s the case. In practice, however, this year is looking www.richmoseley.co.uk very different.Instead of the tried and true colorway, the Air Jordan 7 Tinker Alternate reimagines the classic style. The same colors are present and accounted for, simply switched up for a fresh new look. White and navy are evenly mixed over the leather upper, a look that’s closer to the Olympic VI than the VII.
But the usual bright red and navy accents keep things patriotic, down to the “9” emblazoned atop a flag graphic on each heel, 9 being MJ’s Olympics number. Finally, metallic gold accents embellish the tongue. What’s an Olympic VII without gold medal aspirations, after all?Classic Air Jordan meets deconstructed casual style . . . uh, meets Nike Free Run 2 Femme high-fashion. Yep, high-fashion casual. The Horizon hasn’t quite gained traction among fans yet, at least not to the same degree as its Adidas Superstar Mens predecessor, the Jordan Future. But this may just be the colorway to win over fans.
Premium croc-embossed brown leather comprises the unibody upper, announcing the shoe’s elegant, designer-esque aspirations. That’s built atop a brown-on-brown AJ13 sole unit, eschewing white to truly underscore that fashion-forward feel.Yes, the Wings Air Jordan 12 was an instant-classic, an all-time great,. But it’s gone and, based on the shockingly small production run, it’ll cost you a fortune to grab a pair. But that doesn’t mean that the XII has no more tricks up its sleeve for 2016. . . .

But then, generally Jordan Brand doesn’t launch flawless new colorways of classic Jordans exclusively in girls’ sizes.
That is indeed the case with the Air Jordan 10 Heiress though, a clean new look reminiscent of the Steel X. Rather than the Steel‘s white however, the Heiress sports a creamy off-white leather upper, offset by inlaid black leather and accents. The shoe also dispenses with its predecessor’s eponymous silver striping, instead simply Nike Roshe Run Womens Pink adding off-white there, too, keeping the palette clean and simple.After releasing in only two colorways in its first couple months of existence, the Air Jordan 30 is finally seeing some regularity with its launches. After a third pair found its way to shelves last weekend, a fourth is already on the docket for next month.
The Air Jordan 30 Gym Red puts a decidedly Windy City spin on the innovative model, a sort of “What if?” edition that colors Michael Jordan as a current Bull. Starting black on the heel, the knit upper then gradually fades to red through the midfoot and toe, a cool gradient effect that’s sharply offset by solid-black accents. If not MJ, Jimmy Butler certainly will look the part in these.Snapchat photos are great and all, but the thing about them is that . . . well, they’re not actually great. The photos, I mean.But today, thankfully, things get much more HD, as we get genuine, Jordan-furnished photos of those same Air Jordan 30 Hornets PEs. One pair, featuring a solid-black knit upper offset by purple and blue accents, was created for various Hornets players. The other, setting a blue heel-counter against a white-to-purple gradient upper, is a Frank Kaminsky exclusive. But who knows, he might share.
