Conner Bleackley is keeping the Red Deer Rebels near the top of the Western Hockey League standings. Bleackley scored twice, including a power-play goal, as Red Deer downed the Saskatoon Blades 4-2 on Tuesday in WHL action. Grayson Pawlenchuk had a goal for the Rebels (4-1-0) as well, while Dominik Volek put the puck into an empty net with 10 seconds left to play. Alex Moodie made 30 saves for the win. David Nemecek and Collin Valcourt supplied the offence for Saskatoon (0-4-0), while Alex Moodie stopped 31 of 34 shots. Red Deer went 1 for 5 on the power play and the Blades scored once on four man advantages.
